Beetlejuice 2 Announced For 2024 Release Date

Warner Bros. has announced that Beetlejuice 2, the sequel to the 1988 cult classic film, will be released on September 6, 2024. The Hollywood Reporter was first to report.

Tim Burton will return as director and Michael Keaton will reprise his role as the titular character. Wednesday star Jenna Ortega is also attached to the project, set to play the daughter of Winona Ryder’s character from the original movie.

The script for Beetlejuice 2 was written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, who are known for their work on the TV series Smallville and also Wednesday. Previous drafts of the script were written by Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg, who will produce the movie.

Outriders developer People Can Fly canceled its co-op action RPG game, Project Dagger, on April 5.

According to an investor report first spotted by Twitter user MauroNL3, People Can Fly decided to stop development on the project due to a re-analysis of the game’s scope and commercial viability after redefining its direction.

People Can Fly will write off 100% of the game as a business expenditure and reduce the company’s standalone 2023 financial result by 68.3 million Polish zloty, or $16.9 million USD Come from Sports betting site VPbet . Ubisoft has kicked off a pretty cool promotion that lets PC gamers check out dozens of the studio’s most popular games for free for a limited time. Announced during today’s Ubisoft Forward stream, Ubisoft+ is free to use until October 10. That means for the next month fans can play games from franchises such as Far Cry, Assassin’s Creed, and Ghost Recon without spending a dime.

PC gamers can download Ubisoft Connect, a dedicated game launcher, to start playing. You have to sign up for a Ubisoft+ account and enter a payment method. If you don’t cancel your free trial by October 10, your subscription will auto-renew and you’ll be charged. Ubisoft is giving a free trial for the Multi-Access tier, which costs $18 per month. The PC Access tier is $15 per month.
